We Are at Tryon Summer Series Week 4 and 5
The Electro Acuscope therapy system is FDA approved microcurrent instrument modality, that is designed with a biofeedback system that’s specifically programmed with animal tissues norms. This instrument has FDA approval for neuromuscular, musculoskeletal conditions, pain management and when used properly accelerated recovery rate of MINIMUM of 50% or more.
Founder Cherie Hecht has over 25 years experience in equine bodywork in management therapies, rehab therapies as well as nutrition.
The Electro-Acuscope is a highly sophisticated electronic medical instrument which is designed to scan and treat many types of electrical stimulators called TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation). TENS means that the instrument uses electricity to reduce pain by stimulating the nervous system of the body without puncturing the skin in any way.
The Acuscope establishes communication between their own circuitry and the electrical signals from the area of the patient's body being treated. Using biofeedback technology, they measure such things as tissue conductivity and cell capacitance (the capacity of the cells to hold an electrical charge). Generally tissue conductance is very low in an area of chronic pain and abnormally high in areas of inflammation. In order to correct abnormalities, the treatment introduces gentle currents in wave forms similar to the body's own electrical signals. The Acuscope is programmed to generate the current pulse which damaged nerve tissue requires in order to return to a normal, pain free state.
Here are several common conditions that have been successfully treated by Acuscope Therapy over the years:
•body soreness
•joint inflammation
•pinched nerves
•abscessed feet
• tendon injuries
•ligament injuries
•muscle injuries
•muscle spasms
•stifle problems
•back stiffness
•edema
•ring bone
•check ligaments
•bruising
•Acute injury
•epilepsy
•capped hocks
•curbed hocks
•arthritic conditions
•whirl treatment
•surgical scars
•splints
•wounds
Pre-Performance
Spinal Opening Treatment:
The main benefit is stimulating the Central Nervous System (where the nerves in the body originate at either the brain or the spinal cord). The Electro-Acuscope works directly through the CNS and attempts to normalize the level of current in the nerve cells.
What does that mean to you? By rebooting the Central Nervous System you are essentially recalibrating the body by resetting the muscle memory that has been set in the cells.
This stimulation reawakens nerves that are pinched or dead to start functioning properly again. When the nerves within the body are functioning properly, this reduces pain and allows the body to function at its peak level. To have your horse perform at its best, you want them to feel 100%.
We have received many testimonials of increased speed, Mind focus, stride length, focused energy, increased flexibility to name just a few.
Post -Performance
There are several treatments for post performance including;
The Acuscope system is approved by the FDA to increase the rate of healing in the body by a minimum of 50%. By treating your horse after a competition, you increase their ability to come out the next day refreshed and ready to preform at 100%.

My mare LOVES Cherie. Nelly was out of control spooky when Cherie met her. She worked on her and adjusted her hind end, ribs and neck but then began to talk about her nutrition. 1 hour after Nelly’s adjustment her hips fluffed into a pillow. I thought I had just purchased a fluffy mattress. It was a miracle. 2 weeks after adjusting her nutrition, suggested by Cherie, she had lost 75% of her spooky. Cherie had taken so much time getting to know me as a person and always makes me feel like Nelly is a 10 million dollar horse “we” are getting ready for performance. Her knowledge of horses is multifaceted and I can’t say enough good things. -
Cherie is great at what she does and my mare always loves seeing her. I just recently had her work on a training mare who was having some issues and after one session she was a completely different horse.
When it comes to customer service and keeping my head and heel horses feeling great, Cherie is the best! Cherie has been working on my horses for the past 5-6 years and has always done an awesome job. Her body work keeps my horses feeling and working great and because of that they are able to compete to their fullest potential! Thank you Cherie and my horses thank you as well!
I’ve been using Cherie for 12 years! Amazing results with my endurance and competitive trail horses. She’s a very talented equine therapist specializing in so many modalities. I highly recommend her work.
I am a professional barefoot trimmer, and have trained horses all my adult life. I have known Cherie for twelve years. She has worked on countless horses for me, and for my clients as well. All have benefited greatly from her care. Some horses have been able to come out of retirement because of her work with them. It is rare, in the horse world, to find someone who understands a horse both physically and emotionally, the way Cherie does. Her vast knowledge coupled with good intuition, serves our horses well. Cherie is able to use many different modalities to suit each horse. In short, I highly recommend her if you’re looking to keep your competition horses and/or backyard horse friends sound and happy.
Cherie have helped my horses for years, I have brought her some very different cases that had the vets scratching their heads. She got my horse back to being my good old horse and we are back to competing again. She looks at the whole horse not just a small part of the body. Always looking forward to have Cherie coming working on my horses.
